2. Personal data: we do not process any

Localex neither asks for nor stores personal data of visitors to this site: there are no accounts, no registration and no name, email or phone fields. The database holds only public regulations and stores no data about owners, hosts or other persons. If an official document names a person, that name can only appear inside the literal quote from the official document.

If you write to us by email, we receive your address and your message and use them only to reply to you.

3. No cookies or tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts, the base map, map glyphs and scripts are served from this site, so your browser makes no requests to other servers when you visit it. You only leave this site when you open a link, for example to an official document, or send the error report form (section 4). As there are no cookies, there is no cookie banner either.

4. Error report form

The "Report an error" form stores only the category you choose, the text you write and the rule or municipality it concerns, with the date it was sent. It asks for no name or email address, and we ask you not to include personal data: we store the text as written. If the text looks like it contains an email address, a phone number or a DNI/NIE, the report is refused and nothing is stored.

To limit abuse, our server uses the IP address you send the report from only in memory and temporarily, to count how many reports arrive from it. The IP address is not stored in the database or in the server logs. A person reviews the reports; we cannot reply to you.

5. Hosting

The pages of this site are served by Cloudflare [to be confirmed]. Like any web hosting service, the provider processes your browser's IP address to deliver the pages, under its own terms. The error report form is sent to our API server, hosted by [to be confirmed].

6. Your rights

As we store no data that identifies you, we will normally hold no information about you. You can still exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to the contact address in section 1. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

7. Changes

If the way the site works changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date shown above.
